According to facebook.

Okay, so I was little bored, and I took this facebook quiz....then took the next quiz after I was done with that one, and the one after that, and the one after that, and so on... a half hour later here's what I got. :)
When I'll be married:
ha! yah, we'll see about that...
How many kids I'll have:
more please! :)
What my birthday means:
What my name SHOULD be:
I don't agree at all with this. I think my name should be Giulia. I am Giulia (or giuls, giusto, g....) IN FACT a month ago I was introduced to someone's mom and she said (i quote!) "Oh I'll never forget that, you look like you're Giulia."
take that facebook quiz.
My theme song:
Where I SHOULD live {random}:
Texas....really??? weird.
My future career:
What my name reflect:
I don't understand how the quiz came to this conclusion without knowing my name...
Am I a right or left brain?:
How nerdy am I?:

What's my hair do:
good job facebook! this one is right!
What's my one-word inspiration (or something like that):
Am I a good flirt?:
hah.hahaha.
What do my eyes reflect?:
Does it annoy anyone else that more than half of these quizzes are comprised of horrible grammar and spelling and "text" typing? Do you know what I'm talking about???
My conclusion: the people that waste their time actually creating these outrageous quizzes must have no life and not care or understand the importance of education. Okay, so maybe that's a little extreme, but here's where I'm coming from:
I was the student-life editor for my high school yearbook, and sometimes (way too often actually) I would get copy (stories, articles, etc for all  you folks not current with yearbook lingo) that had grammar/spelling errors EVERYWHERE. Also, instead of typing "you" or "our" "two,to,too" I would see "U" "R" and "2". I don't really care if i see these mix ups in a text. But I get worried about the world we live in and where it's headed when I see this kind of stuff all the time!!!
other peeves: incorrect use of "your" vs. "you're", "to" vs. "too", and "there" vs. "their" vs. "they're". c'mon people!
okay, i'm done now.
Pictures from Spring Break. (general conference weekend actually. BYU doesn't have spring break. but i had one, did you?)
Netters and me at the Jazz game.
Our seats were the VERY last row. It was awesome. and cheap!
Netters and me after conference. We attended the afternoon session on Sunday....and it looks like my sweater is falling off, strange. :)

just for Rachel.

:) this is the best picture we have. [of the whole dress]

also: Giulia was promoted to LEAD Lifeguard yesterday.[aka Red Shirt Status] YAY! long story there, but the world wide web doesn't need to know it. Good thing(s)= more money, teach less swim lessons. Bad thing(s)= have to leave BMI, I'll be at WRIP, so I can no longer just to ride my bike to work; mostly I'm just sad to leave BMI. BUT I will make WRIP be the BOMB.COM pool that everybody wants to work at. :)

Sisters are we, my best friend and me.

Cheesy title, but it's true!

This girl will be home in about a week and half. ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A day of dreaming. And boys.

The other night I did some laps around the grass. Slowly. Balancing. Thinking. thinking about summer, jobs, school, italy, future, majors, minors, MAJORS, running.....................you don't need to know everything. :)

It is so frustrating not being able choose a major, let alone "declare" one. Here's what I've been tossing around as possibilities: athletic training, elementary education, italian[minor], music[minor], nursing[a recent development that becomes more of a possibility every day], sfl[family life sciences, seriously, i think i would love it].
If I could, I would just major in all of them! There's so much knowledge out there that I crave to have! And I want all of it NOW! :) If I could afford it, I would stay in Provo spring and summer. Maybe if I did that every year for like 6+ years, I could major in all the above!!!! But, they don't allow that. Darn. And, I can't afford that. Sad story. By the end of next semester I'll basically be done with all my generals...and I hope by then I'll have some sort of direction as to which major map to take.
i DO know that I want to study abroad in Italy next spring. [they, the international studies department, have not yet posted a spring 2010 application, so i can't yet say that I am, for sure, going...]
i Do know that my wildest dream is being on broadway.
i DO know that i want to run a half marathon in September.
i DO know that i want to compete in a triathlon.
i DO know that I want to be a mother.
i DO know that I want a family. A loving husband, cute kiddos, and an awesome old house to call my own [with a ridiculously awesome back yard. I'd rather have a lot of land for a volleyball/basketball/tennis court, a pool, trees, a tree house, a garden, space to run, and a little house. seriously, a big house does not appeal to me at all...[i'll add that to my 'how you're more like your mom than you ever thought' list])
i DO know that I know more than this, but I'm already tired of writing it all out. :)

Moving on...
For all my talk of wanting a family, I'm pretty far away from that happening anytime soon.
I present the men in my life:

The only kisses I have had, and am likely to have, for a while. :)

(Brutus, Buddy, Harley)
Brutus is my best bud now. He's my running partner (poor Buddy is too old and can't keep up, and Harley is fat and slow, ha) and he literally jumps like crazy for joy whenever I'm in the backyard with him, especially when he knows we're going for a run. He's a good dog, willing to do whatever you ask him, and III just lov'im. I wish I could take him to school with me, Dad said I could! Too bad my apartment says I can't. :(

Softball.

After I came back home, I was able to catch Jenette's last 3 (or 4?) ball games.  They were fun to watch, and it was nice to sit and chat with Mom or any other people from the high school. Watching the girls play reminded me of my own softball days. I played from 3rd (was it third???) to 7th or 8th grade (i'm struggling remembering....everything's just a blur...does that mean i'm getting older[er]??) and mostly did 1st base and pitching, but a good amount of short stop as well. GOOD TIMES. sigh....
Their last game was their "Senior Night". Netters was introduced, by the coach, as "The Enforcer", and that he'd never want to get in a fight with her. (Ask my mom for the whole story, she's really good at telling it...)
She was the team's 3rd baseman.
I just want to take this opportunity to say that although Mr. Black wouldn't want to get in a fight with our dearest Netters, I would. :) We had a love/hate relationship growing up. She was my best friend or worst enemy, and we would flip between the two at least three times a day. When we were playing worst enemies, fist fights/wrestling matches/any violent activity was started. And although she might be stronger than me, I think Jenette would agree that I won MOST, if not ALL, of those girl fights. tehehe.
Randi! I love this girl! She came to all the games too!
And because this post is [mostly] about Jenette, here is a video of her and Logan. It makes me giggle.

Prom hair.

I'm laughing at the title of this post because it reminded of a story my cousin Amy told me. It's about me. For the first bit of their marriage, her husband, Brad, couldn't remember my name. He recognized me if I was referred to as 'prom hair'. You see, the day she went through the temple, our family had a party afterwards, and I showed up with some awesome curls on my blonde head (due to the lack of nothing else to do while everyone was gone). To Brad, I am forever "Prom Hair"; however, he does know me now- without the title. :)
Saturday was Basic's 2009 Prom. I did Jenette's hair. It turned out pretty darn sassy! Me likey. She did too. I felt really bad for her when I asked her to put her head down, with her nose extremely close to me and my nastiness. I was at work ALL DAY, and the water at the pool I was at smells like feet. Seriously. gross.

A second before this shot was snapped, Jenette burped right in my face, and looks quite pleased with herself (probably because she was able to burp, blow it in my face, and still get a smile[read as smirk] in before the flash). Thanks, sis.

Here we are for last year's prom. We were in the same group, and it was great!

Well, at least we tried.

We'd wanted to do a "Spring Photoshoot" when the trees started blossoming on campus. But the days we planned on doing it were WAY WINDY. Nicole's wedding day was our last chance. So, while Nicole was getting shot at by the professional photographer, we did our own thing with my crappy camera! Here's what we got. (only one good one. ha!)

Nicole's Wedding!

April 28th.
Salt Lake.
Giulia was not part of the wedding party. She was the bride's maid's maid. :)

Breezy: Wow- look at the boys' funny footwear!
Giulia: yep, that's funny Breezy. Good eye!
                      Shana:...... (insert your own caption)

After pictures at the temple...they were tireddd. We crashed at Ashley's for an hour or so between the temple and reception.

We (Breezy, Shana, Dia, and myself) were so,SO, thankful that Dyami (Dia's sister) let us borrow her car! Breezy and I had plans A, B, and C to get us to Salt Lake for the wedding on Saturday- and every single one did not work out! It was a very stressful morning. If Dyami hadn't lent us her Honda, we would have had to take the bus to the trax station, and the trax into SLC. Dyami, THANK YOU!!!! And we are so,SO,sorry that we had to return the car to her with a broken window. :( It just stopped working!

A year-long wish fulfilled.

All year long, whenever we walked outside from Mr. Parker's English Lit AP class to Mr. Black's calc AP class, we would pass all the lovely trees that lined the sidewalk. Everyday, Caitie would say, "Giulia! Climb that tree!" Usually we never had enough time, or it was windy, or I was in dress or a skirt. or... yah. :) So, the last day we had english, I finally succumbed to Caitie's will- even though I had to do it in a skirt and senza shoes.
Luckily, Francis was there to give me a boost up.

Caitie and me at Basic's Homecoming 2008- we're alumni now...weird!

Some candy for Giulia.

Eye candy that is.

I'm in love with this suit! Chris Pine doesn't look bad either.
