After I came back home, I was able to catch Jenette's last 3 (or 4?) ball games. They were fun to watch, and it was nice to sit and chat with Mom or any other people from the high school. Watching the girls play reminded me of my own softball days. I played from 3rd (was it third???) to 7th or 8th grade (i'm struggling remembering....everything's just a blur...does that mean i'm getting older[er]??) and mostly did 1st base and pitching, but a good amount of short stop as well. GOOD TIMES. sigh....
Their last game was their "Senior Night". Netters was introduced, by the coach, as "The Enforcer", and that he'd never want to get in a fight with her. (Ask my mom for the whole story, she's really good at telling it...)

She was the team's 3rd baseman.
I just want to take this opportunity to say that although Mr. Black wouldn't want to get in a fight with our dearest Netters, I would. :) We had a love/hate relationship growing up. She was my best friend or worst enemy, and we would flip between the two at least three times a day. When we were playing worst enemies, fist fights/wrestling matches/any violent activity was started. And although she might be stronger than me, I think Jenette would agree that I won MOST, if not ALL, of those girl fights. tehehe.
Randi! I love this girl! She came to all the games too!
