The birthday boy.
Logan's birthday was a few weeks ago. If you asked what today was he would reply, rather shyly (is that a word? shyly?)"it's my birthday"...adorable. All afternoon he kept asking for Papa (my dad, aka Grandpa) and the fourwheeler. I kept him and Spencer entertained for a few hours just playing around on the "wheeler" parked in the garage, but that got old after a while and Logan wanted the real thing. Papa was at work and couldn't take him on the fourwheeler. David to the rescue!!! (thanks Randy and Lindsey for letting David take the fourwheeler! Having so much family so close is so great, isn't it?) As soon as David pulled up to the driveway, Logan looked up to me and said, "wheeler??!!!" He was pretty happy. And oh happy day, there's construction going on by our house that involves tractors, big ones. Logan LOVES tractors. One of his first words was "gracterr". Anything that is big and has a loud engine, Logan knows what it is. Airplanes, helicoptor, motorcycle, truck, fourwheeler, fire engine, tractor, train, etc. When I was telling David that Logan can name different types of tractors, he didn't really believe me until we rode to the construction site with the tractors and I would ask, "What's the name of that tractor, Logan?" And Logan would respond "loader, x-raider, steam-roller, back hoe". This 3-year old was in heaven.

The scaredy cat.
Shelly wanted me to give Logan a few swimming lessons while they were down in Henderson. The first day we tried, Logan did not want to get in the water at all. When I was holding him and standing in the water, Logan politely asked "Can you please step out please? Please?" So we went home and walk through the door and Logan announced that he was going to take a nap. Later that day we realized that he had fever of 103!! Poor guy! No wonder he didn't want to do anything all morning. So in actuality, he wasn't being a scaredy cat, he just wasn't feeling well. We felt bad. :/
Logan's favorite toy is his vacuum. Seriously. He asked me several times where HIS vacuum was, and if we could vacuum. haha! And when I started a load of laundry he asked if he could get up to watch the laundry. "Look, it's cleaning! Ooo, bubbles, hahaha." Crazy kid. Everyone should hear his laugh. He has the best laugh, ever. I'm pretty sure he picked it up from me. ;)

Love him.
