Giulia surprised David and showed up a day earlier than planned. He had no idea [i kind of had to lie to him about a few things to pull it off, but it was worth it!], it was great. Finis and I planned on me being there before the boys got back from hunting that morning, but naturally, that plan did not work. The boys showed up early and Giulia was still 30 minutes away. So Finis created plan B: sneak Giulia into Chelsie's room (that wasn't hard because David was passed out asleep), wake David up to help Chelsie move a dresser in her bedroom, David walk in to Chelsie's room (Chelsie ready with the camera to get a picture of his shocked face) and freak out to find me. Well, I got into Chelsie's room, but Mom and Dad Robbins could not wake David up. Their tactics were inducing me to fits of laughter. And when Finis would talk louder to muffle my laugh, I would just laugh harder, causing me to cry. We finally gave up on plan B and I just walked into the boys room [as Preston was giving his best effort at waking Sleeping Beauty. whatever he did, it got David up and moving.]. As Nessie opened the door she said, "Would THIS have gotten you up???" And then I walked in. When David looked up he sat there for a good 10 seconds just staring. He looked at me, and then his Mom, and then back at me with that shocked/dazed smile. I think he thought he was still dreaming. :)

Then he finally stood up and gave me a hug and realized that I was, in fact, real and that he wasn't in a dream.

activities included: tour of Panaca (about the size of Mudlake, maybe smaller), four-wheeler rides, water fights, sand dunes [where Giulia 'jumped the bush'! so fun! ha], hunting [Giulia's first time going, can you believe that?], star gazing, late night talks, rock/cave/don't know what to call it climbing [oh wait, I think it was called Cathedral Gorge...or was that something else?], tin foil dinners, camp fire, smores and roasted starbursts and tootsie rolls, eating good ol' Southern Grits for the first time [very tasty. i need to learn how to make me some grits], chillaxin' with the Robbin's fam, knee baseball [ouch. Team D&G won. Sorry Preston.], pillow fights [Preston and I totally owned David] and the list goes on.
Conclusion: Giulia loves Panaca, and David, and the whole Robbins family, and is excited to go back.
The end.
The end. Panaca was our last summer hoorah before school started. And life has been kinda hard ever since. :/ However, the last two weekends were great.
Crowther Reunion in Mesquite. Once again, Giulia did not use her camera. It didn't even make it out of her bag! Giulia drove to Cedar City on Friday afternoon and met up with David [ we hadn't seen each other for 3 weeks.] David had roses. :) Team D&G drove to Mesquite together. It was so great to hang out with the whole Robbins family again (I really do miss ALL of you!). And it was fun to meet the Crowther family.
David, Giulia, Grandpa, GrandmaJune
Grandpa saw David and I walking in and he yelled at us to come take a picture. A certain photographer said that she could not get Grandpa to smile in the photos taken before team D&G arrived. Well he's smiling in this picture!!! ;) I think he likes me. proof that I was there: [pictures from Courtney's facebook. :) ]
Lindsey, Chelsie, Courtney, Team D&G

game time for the adults. This particular game was a race to suck everything out of the bottle first. It wore David out. LOL.

Playing with chitlins. In this picture you see Avrie and Noah. :) [Avrie had silver sandals on too, and she and I were best friends. :) ]

Good times were had. The laughter seemed to never stop. Late night Wal-Mart runs were made. A load of laundry washed. Giulia couldn't have been happier. ...And on our trip back to Cedar City on Sunday afternoon, team D&G stopped at the mall and browsed a few selections of expensive hardware, if you know what I mean. [wink, wink, elbow, elbow, nudge, nudge]
...And that brings us to this last weekend! (once again, no pictures. This time for reals because I can't steal any from Courtney) I knew David was going to come visit either this weekend or next weekend, but he wouldn't tell me which one. When Friday rolled around, I was aching to see him again, and told him he better be coming this weekend. David said he was planning on it, but he got off work later, so he wouldn't be heading out until Saturday early morning. Giulia sighed [do you love how I switch from 1st to 3rd person ALL THE TIME. sorry if it annoys any of you.] and prepared her mind for another day senza D. She went to practice [ oh yah that's right. If any of don't know. Giulia is the Sophomore Head Coach for Mountain View High School's volleyball team. Her Uncle Andy and Aunt Jenelle hooked her up with this sweet job, if you can call it a job. Yes, she is getting paid. bowchickawowwow.] and then zipped over to Keith and Keri's to hang out with them and their adorable baby, my nephew, for the evening. As I was holding and loving on Krugh and studying, Keri kept getting text messages. I didn't think anything of it. And then around 9:30, K, K, and baby K all left the room. Once again, I didn't think anything of it. And then there was a knock at the door. I asked K&K if they were expecting anyone, but all Keri said was to go ahead and answer the door. I crawl off the couch, go to the door and look through the peep hole, and see nothing. I cautiously opened the door, and still saw no one....weird! I looked right, nothing, I looked left, and there stood David, with the biggest smile on his handsome, unshaven face. I let out a scream of delight and shock as i jumped into his arms. This time he had a 2lb. bag of Sour Watermelons for me. My favorite. I wonder what next weekend will bring (how do you top a 2 pound bag??? ha) He is so good to me. :) Needless to say, my weekend was blissful. I hope yours was too.
There, now we're all caught up on Giulia's life. Everyone happy?
Note to self: actually use your camera next weekend. [because, yes yes yes, David is coming again! and the weekend after that as well!!! and the weekend after that Giulia is going to Hendo! and the weekend after that is still kinda up in the air, but a rendezvous in Cedar is a for sure event. Life is good.]

I bet your ring is in the bottom of that 2 pound bag of sour patch watermelons.
I'll help you eat that bag on Saturday. :) Also... is there any town SMALLER than Mud Lake?! Seriously?! I found something seriously wrong with that idea.
