A Hairy Easter + A Shout-Out to Shelly

I celebrated Easter a week earlier than the rest of the world. My mom's side of the family, the Young clan, partied all weekend- Jazz game on Friday, egg and basket hunting on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, all while listening to conference and hanging out with each other. I love my family.

On Saturday afternoon a big group of us went over to Andrea's (if you want a good haircut, I'll give you her number, she is awesome [and cheap]) for haircuts. Shelly, my sister-in-law, decided to chop most of her hair away and donate it. I had mixed feeling about the decision because I love Shelly's long hair, but I knew she'd look good either way and she was in good hands.

Anywho, I'm so SO GLAD, that Shelly is a part of our family. I remember back when she was in high school, and I was in junior high, I thought that she was so beautiful and nice and fun. and tiny. Did you know that she is an AWESOME DANCER??? I looked up to her a lot, and still do! She still is all those things and my sister now, too! Thank you Chris! and thank you Shelly for putting up with him! ;) It makes me sad that she and Chris have always lived far away in Idaho since they've been married and I hardly get to spend time with her and my brother's family (they have the two cutest little boys in the world!). I love you, Shelly!
