Here are some pictures from Breezy's birthday celebration. I didn't take many pictures, sorry.
Tuesday morning, the 17th, I woke up and made some monster pancakes for breakfast. YUM! Then we both went our separate ways for the day. Breezy's cake had been sitting in the fridge for two days, and it was very annoying to only get to look at it. So, when Breezy got home at like 5:30, we really REALLY wanted to eat that cake. So, we chose to not worry about inviting others over to sing and eat with us. Isaac was there because we we're [attempting] to study, but I was so excited for Breezy to get home that I wasn't a very good study buddy. Sorry, Isaac. But you know what- you got cake!!!
My birthday gift for Breezy?
What a blessing this has been! Breezy had one at the beginning of last semester, but it got dropped and broke (not naming names). The poor girl struggles with drinking the tap water (so do I), so she's been forced to buy bottled water all the time (so was I). This is not a healthy situation, let me tell you. We were limiting how much water we would drink each day, because if we drank more, we'd have to buy more. Not good. Needless to say, we love the new Brita, and we drink to our heart's content. life is gooood. and here is our birthday song for her. :) and Breezy telling us about her French class. and us trying to get the candles out. and...I didn't realize I had recorded all this until after I uploaded the video...kind of embarrassing.
Breezy and I decided to start a new tradition for our birthdays. A balloon launch on the day between our birthdays, the 18th. We got the idea to tie our birthday wishes to a balloon and let it go in the sky from the NieNie dialogues (see the link on the right side of my blog). We will be doing this every year for the rest of our lives. :)

p.s. When I ran back to grab the camera so we could capture our balloons floating away, I tripped on a protruding pipe of some sort and almost fell on my face. funny.
